Introduction to Geometry

Geometry module of SALOME is destined for:

• import and export of geometrical models in IGES, BREP and STEP formats;
• construction of geometrical objects using a wide range of functions;
• viewing geometrical objects in the OCC viewer;
• transformation of geometrical objects using various algorithms;
• optimization of geometrical objects;
• viewing geometrical object properties.
• and other information about geometrical objects using measurement tools.
• easily setting parameters via the variables predefined in Salome notebook.

Almost all geometry module functionalities are accessible via Geometry module Python Interface

Other functions are available in salome.geom python package.
