This package enables the local floppy, cdrom and soundcard on an X terminal.
It runs Samba, sshd and artsd on the terminal, and uses a clever Xstartup
script so that KDM automatically assigns ressources to the loggued user.
As an added feature, it can also auto-create temporary users: if someone
logs as a special user, it will create a new user, and delete it when they
log off, making it perfect for public-access computers. Finally, it also
enables users to run local applications (cd player, scanner) using
"runlocal <command>".

You will need the terminal-server and clusternfs packages to use these
functions.

This RPM installs in /home/xterminals, and adds some scripts in /etc/rc.d.

To configure:
- su
- cd /home/xterminals
- cp etc/kdmrc /usr/share/config/kdm
- cp bin/* /usr/bin
- service dm restart
- reboot the x-terminals

When you log on an X terminal, it will mount the local drives in
$HOME/local/floppy and $HOME/local/cdrom.

Additionnally, you can copy the kdesktop-links in the contrib directory to
/usr/bin. This script will create a minimal set of desktop icons (floppy,
cdrom, openoffice, mozilla, calculator), remove some useless menu icons
(chbg, eog, kdeutils-khexedit, etc), configure the desktop so the
taskbar is bigger, and other useful stuff.

Finally, if you want to get rid of the "CD-ROM is mounted on /mnt/cdrom"
confusing icons, remove the cdrom and floppy entries in the fstab of the
server. You don't want people accessing the media on the server itself!
